HEALTH + NUTRITION

You are what you eat. 
You don't need to always be on a diet. You don't need to stick with the latest trend.
Exercise, eat in moderation, eat colorfully and know what you are putting in your body.

HOW I MAKE FOOD DECISIONS:

1) Colorful, looks nutritious + appealing to the eye
2) Fresh, no preservatives or additives
3) More greens, the better!
4) Dish consists of: protein, healthy fat, lots of veggies + complex carbohydrates
5) Eat in more. Eat out less.

I know this is not true for everyone, but I love to cook! I like to know what is going into my meals + WHY the ingredients are good for my body. I am a nerd when it comes to researching what food does for your body, your mind + your soul.

Nutrition doesn't just affect your body when you are doing your day-to-day activities. Nutrition also plays a major role in how you sleep and how your body sleeps at night recovers for the next day. If you are feeding your body sugar-free this and low-calorie that, your body automatically cannot compute that as real food. It then makes you hungry and not satisfied... thus leading you to overeat and then gain unneeded weight.
